5th day of our N.S.S Camp


7th November 2016 we got up at 5.30 am and refreshed ourselves, had black tea and got ready for the exercise. we did suryanamaskar. After that we had our breakfast. This was our last camp day so we didn't had any work. We were all busy in preparing for the cultural program at night. In the afternoon we had "mukh bhojan" (mute) and we had to show some action like 1- rice, 2- daal, 3- water, 4- pickle etc to get the food. In the evening we had our last prayer session and Arun sir told us the importance of meditation and prayers and motivated us to continue this same momentum in our home also. After that we had our dinner and it was served by the teachers. In dinner we had pulaav, cholle, shevyo etc. After that we were ready for the cultural programme. Every student showcased their talents by performing various acts like group dance, monologue, solo singing, duet singing, poem, street play and mute beat. me and my best friend saiesh sang duet song "Phela nasha pehla khumar". Kalidas Sir motivated me to sing this song. It was my first experience and most amazing memory in my life. I was very happy because everyone said that i sung very well. I will never forget this memorable camp.

4th day of N.S.S Camp

6th November 2016 on this day we got up early as usual at 5;30 am. and refreshed ourselves. on this day we had to go to nearby farm feild which was around 8km away from our campus. Vishnu Barve p(performing Arts sir) took us to the farm by walking. we reached the farm feild after walking through the jungle and mountains. we were guided by ( Sanjeev Joshi owner of the farm). He spoked about his experience in the farm and gave importance of traditional rural life. He took us to cowshed (Goshala) and showed how to collect milk from buffaloes. He also showed us the biogas plant and shedder (branch cutter). Later on we all were provided the breakfast by the serving group. After the breakfast we all were told to go in the kullagar and collect beetle nuts (supari). After collecting we moved towards the farm and did some work like digging the pit to plant trees, removing weeds etc. later we moved back to the campus and refresh ourselves. We had our lunch (solkadi and rice) After that we prepared for patriotic singing competition. In the evening we had cricket match between the groups and also the staff members participated. Atlast the staff team won the final match. After that we had our regular prayer session which was conducted by our ex-students Sanjit Naik and Shubham Bandodkar. We did meditation and chanted omkar. Then we had our dinner and got ready for our patriotic singing competitions. Songs like Rashtra ki jay chetna, mahan hi aamha jagi, mera mulkka mera desh, ek ek pavla ghaltana, sanghtan bade chalo were performed and after performing our patriotic songs we went to sleep.

5th November 2016 on this day our group was a serving group we got up at 4.00 am and refreshed ourselves. We made arrangements in the kitchen and helped the cook to make breakfast. at 8.00 am we served korma bhaaji and bread for other groups. after that we were busy in doing organic rangoli and skylamp (Aakash kandil). All the groups made rangoli by using flowers, leaves and other materials. my group made skylamp with bamboo sticks and coconut leaves. Then at 12.30 pm we served lunch, in lunch there was rice, moongdal and kaapa. After that  we had rest time and we used this time for completing our rangoli etc. At 4.00 pm we had lecture session on "Theatre personality" conducted by shri Pramod Mhadeshwar. he spoked on the importance of body language and non-verbal communication. Also the facial expressions and how makeup plays an important role in the drama and acting. It was an interractive session full of entertain. at 8.00 pmwe moved to nearby temple and sang some abhang. we prepared some prasad and served to the people. Later we had some competition like debate and elocution competition and the topic was Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. And after that we went to sleep.

Friday 4th November 2016 second day of our camp. after having breakfast we continued our shramadan work. All the groups went for work towards nearby temple. we walked for around 6 km. the place was Brahmakarmali. we cleaned the Brahma temple and the nearby campus. I and my group members cleaned the interior of temple by removing cobwebs and mopping the floor. Then we enjoyed in the nearby stream and fountain. Afterwords we moved back to our campus got refresh and we were ready for the lunch.After having our lunch we were having lecture at 3 a clock on The Consumer Protection Act 1986 which was conducted by Mr Shri Krishna .S. Naik Headmaster of Government High School Nagargao. He gave us knowledge about various things like The Right to Safety, RTI, Right to Choose, Right to be Heard, Right to consumer Education, Right to Satisfaction of Basic Needs, Right to Healthy Environment etc. Than we had some tea and afterwards we were practicing our mime. At 8:00 pm we had our dinner. After that we had our daily competition we all had to perform mime on any social issues. Every group performed different issues such as children marriage, terrorism, corruption, border issues etc. After mime competition one more competition Ad- mad competition was performed. Every group had to perform on any creative product like Geetanjali, Patanjali, Smart phone, Pokemon Baba jal, Sugandh udbatti etc. After finishing our competition we gone to sleep and lights were off.

N.S.S CAMP

2nd november 2016 we all reached at 3.30pm at  the camp spot. on second day i woke up and had my tea and we did some warm up which was conducted by Pankaj Shirodkar sir and Nilesh Waradkar sir. sharp at 7am there was an assembly conducted by Arun Marathe sir. I  really enjoyed the pariotic songs which were sanged during the assembly than Arun sir gave talk on importance of N.S.S. and its volunteers towards the Nation building. After assembly i went to have my breakfast and went to do shramadan (society work) there were five groups each group was allocated different place for cleaning purpose. My group had cleaned a near by temple and surrounding. I really enjoyed doing the society work we also had too much fun with our teachers and friends while doing shramadan we came back after two hours of work and had our lunch.in evening we were having a talk on fire and emergency which was given by sir Rupesh Sawant senior officer of fire and emergency department. we learned how to protect ourselfs from fire breakout. he also spoke on types of fire extingtion . i had our dinner at 8.30 and at 9.15pm all the groups were given topics to perform a skit on environmental issues like deforestation, mining, extinct species etc.
